Halloween 2017

I helped at Hallee's class party on Halloween.  I love how excited she gets when I come in her class.  I help with centers every Monday and she always runs up and gives me a hug.  I helped with the craft.  Luckily someone donated one so I just had to run it.

I need to treasure this time with my baby, the kids are growing up so fast!

Hallee went back to school that afternoon so that she could walk in the parade.  She was so cute waving while she walked.  My mom went with me.  The weather was perfect and we found a bench outside that was in a great spot.

Wyatt was excited to see us too and gave us a big wave.

Jonah played it cool and told me I embarrassed him when I said, "Jonah wave to your mom and grandma." 

Jonah went trick-or-treating with his friends and Matt Jarvis took Wyatt, Kellen and the twins around.  We got a scare when they couldn't find Wyatt, but a minute later he showed up at home.  I guess he was tired so he just came home and forgot to tell Matt.  We had a nice talk about that!

Caitlyn had a hard time finding friends to trick-or-treat with.  I wanted her to stay in the neighborhood and Leata wasn't going and the other girls had groups and she didn't want to ask to join.  She ended up taking Hallee out trick-or-treating.  Keith and I stayed home together and passed out candy, it was a little strange, but kind of nice.  Hallee didn't last very long and Caitlyn wanted to keep going and tried to latch onto a group, but ended up alone because they were going where she had already gone and she didn't want to go to the same houses twice.  She called me and came home all upset and said she just wanted to go to bed.  Poor girl, I wish she would make some good friends around here, she tries so hard!  I got her calmed down and I told her I would go back out with her, she decided to check and see if Wyatt (across the street) wanted to go first, but he wasn't home and just then Chloee walked up to our house with her friend and Caitlyn asked if she could join them.  Chloee and her friend welcomed her right in and Caitlyn had a great time with them.  It made me so happy!  Jonah and Caitlyn both got home after the little two were in bed.  They were excited to show each other how much candy they got.  I'm glad the kids had a great Halloween.  Wyatt was so excited for Halloween that he couldn't sleep the night before and he was up really early that morning. He used that time to write his teacher a very sweet note telling her how great she is and thanking her for a Halloween party.  He is a sweetheart.
