Dancing Queen

Yesterday I got to sit in on Hallee's dance class.  Usually we can't watch, so it was fun to be in there.  I really like the class.  It is through BYU and I think they do a great job. Hallee loves dance, but I think her favorite thing about dance is taking it with Tessa.

Hallee and Tessa were thrilled when they showed up in the same outfit.  It helps when grandma gets you matching tutus.

They started out with a freeze dance.

I think her teacher does a great job of teaching the kids technique and positions and making it fun.

They kept looking at each other and smiling.

The girls love every minute of their class.

I was impressed with how long Hallee could walk on her toes.

Hallee loves to jump and leap.

Hallee has dance every Wednesday for an hour.  She is always telling me how many days it is until dance day!

I debated about starting Hallee in a weekly class since she is young and I'm so busy with the older kids, but I'm really glad I did.  She loves it and seems to have a natural talent for it. At the end of the class they get to do a free dance, Hallee's was adorable.  She twirled around and walked on her toes and it was the cutest thing.  I'm glad I got to watch!
