We try to read a Christmas story by the Christmas tree every night. I love sitting by the Christmas tree.
We had YW in Excellence last week. I think it turned out really nice. Instead of having the girls display things we had the parents write the girls a letter and gave them each a small Christus. I took Hallee and Caitlyn to that while Keith took the boys to Jonah's first basketball game. I was sad to miss that, they won and Jonah had a great game!
Thursday night was Keith's company Christmas party. They took us to Tucanos. It was really good food. It was nice to meet his bosses and the people he works with. The best part was I didn't get my normal social anxiety, it was fabulous. The founders of the company spoke and said some nice things about Keith and some of the other employees. After dinner they gave everyone a Christmas bonus. Keith's was very generous and much more than we were expecting. It was a huge blessing because things have been tight and a couple hours before the party we had just started Jonah on phase one braces. We were hoping to avoid that and not start him until Caitlyn was done, but his teeth don't have room to grow in, so we figured we better do it. The Christmas bonus took a big weight off my shoulders, I'm so grateful for that.
On Friday we went to the ward Christmas party. I will post more on that later. We were all dressed and ready so I thought I would get a picture with my girls. Aren't they beautiful?
And all three boys are so handsome!
Love these cute girls.
Wyatt has been wearing jeans a lot lately so he can keep swords and different weapons on him. Funny boy!
On Saturday Wyatt said his stomach hurt and threw up. Poor kid, he throws up a lot. It was right before his basketball game so we told him he needed to skip the game. He was not happy about that. I got him to rest for a little bit so we could make sure he was okay. After a short time he said he felt fine and didn't want to rest anymore. We bought this table for him for Christmas and we decided it would be a good time to give it to him. After that he was happy as could be coloring in his room with his cup of Sprite on the side. Luckily, it was just his normal throw up once and be fine. He was fine right after and has been fine ever since.
