Indoor Skydiving

Gary and Julie took Lindy and Caleb indoor skydiving for their birthdays and thought it would be fun to do it while we were all there.  Jonah had just told me a few days before that he wanted to try this, we got a great deal so we thought it would be fun for all of the cousins to go together.
We watched other people while we were waiting for our turn.  Hallee couldn't see so Jonah told her to come sit on his lap.  So sweet!
You can see a big tube behind Caitlyn and Jonah. Inside the tube is a rope floor with a giant fan underneath it.
The kids were all so excited!
All of the cousins did it except for Hallee and Wyatt. I think Wyatt regretted not doing it a little bit.
Caleb went first and Jonah went second.  The instructor stays in the tube with them and holds on to them to make sure they don't fly up too high.  You could tell that it was really hard for them to keep their bodies straight, the fan is very powerful!
They stay in the tube for one minute.  It sounds pretty short, but I'm sure it feels longer when they are in there.  By the end Jonah's body was flipping around.  You could tell he loved every minute of it.
Caitlyn had a hard time keeping her body straight.  She was flipping around a lot.
She got the hang of it after a little while.
They all got to go twice.  After everyone went once, they rotated back through.  You could pay an extra $10 and the instructor would hold on to you and take you up and down in the tube.   Both of the kids wanted to do it.  They both committed to work hard to earn the extra money (they both kept their promise and worked hard yesterday.) They loved it and were so glad they did it.
It was great that they got to do it twice.  They all seemed more at ease the second time since they knew what to expect.
Jonah loved it and wants to go again.
Caitlyn loved going up high.
It was so fun to see their big smiles.
Everyone loved it!  We had fun watching all of them. After everyone finished, the instructor went in by himself and did all sorts of tricks, we all liked watching that.  It was definitely an experience the kids won't forget!
