Birthday Girl

Saturday was Caitlyn's 13th birthday.  I can't believe she is a teenager.  We didn't do a friend party this year.  We decided to have a family day instead.  Keith and I took Caitlyn out to lunch.  She picked Arby's.  We had fun having some one-on-one time with her.
After that she picked swimming for an activity.  She couldn't wait to open her presents though, so we opened them before we went to the pool.  Hallee was excited to give her this folder that she picked out for her.  Wyatt drew her a horse, her favorite animal and Jonah gave her $5 and some slime. The kids all did a great job of making the day special for her.
She was excited with the gifts we got her.
She loved the ear buds that grandpa Loosli sent her.
We had fun swimming.  Caitlyn and I went to the lap pool and swam laps for a while.  It was fun to spend that time with her.
After swimming we came home and I made her Ritz chicken, the meal she requested and then we all played outside for a while.
Caitlyn has been having fun playing in the back yard with Hallee and Wyatt.  They have had fun with the tree house and the swing set.
After that we had cake and ice cream.
The birthday girl got to stay up with mom and dad and she decided she wanted Jonah to stay up with us too.  We had fun playing UNO Dare together.  Caitlyn didn't want her birthday to end.  We all tried hard to make sure she had a special day.  It was a laid back, fun day, just right for Caitlyn.
