Deer Creek Reservoir

We had a great Memorial Day weekend.  We spent the weekend with the Barth's and the Carr's. We started it off by going to Deer Creek Reservoir.  It was beautiful there.
It wasn't a sandy beach like I was picturing, but the kids still had a great time.
You had to climb over rocks to get into the water, so we didn't play in the water a ton.
We still got our feet in though.
Look at that beauty!
They had an obstacle course set up in the water.  The older kids really wanted to do it so we decided to go ahead and let them do it.  I'm really glad that we did, they had a blast.
Jonah had second thoughts when they told him that they had to swim out there.  The water was freezing!  Caitlyn was thrilled and jumped right in!
You can see Jonah in front, then Caitlyn and Kiara behind her.
I like this picture of Jonah helping Kiara up.
We were pretty far away from the obstacle course so it was hard to see the kids, but we could see some of it.
We could see them jumping along these steps, it was like a ladder.
It took Caitlyn a few times to get the hang of it.  Here she is falling.
She got the hang of it though.  They got to play for an hour.  They were pretty exhausted after going over and over for an hour and swimming back and forth.
I love spending time with Damon.  He is so cute and he gets so excited about everything.
Jonah had fun throwing rocks with the boys after the obstacle course.
Jonah was playing football with Ben and Kiara and Hallee wanted to play.  Jonah is always sweet to include Hallee. After a few hours it was getting windy and we were all ready to head out.  It was a fun afternoon.  The kids keep asking to go back.
