Cousin Time

Julie is so sweet and talked my parents into going to Hawaii while she came up to watch Dante and Alexys.  I know this meant so much to my parents and they had a much needed break.  I filled in on Julie's travel days and Ashley, Ammon and Jacob stayed with us.  My kids were so excited to have them here. 

On Saturday we all went over to the school by my parents and let the kids play and burn off some energy.

It was a little chilly, but the kids were running around so much that they weren't cold at all.

I loved watching everyone have fun together and taking pictures of each group.

Keith loved playing basketball with Kyle and EJ.

I didn't get to visit very much because I kept having to take my kids back to grandma's to use the bathroom.  At least I wasn't grumpy about it, oh wait, yes I was!

I love seeing Jonah and Jacob together.  They are very similar and have so much fun together.  Jacob is so sweet and was constantly thanking me for everything.  

Caitlyn had so much fun with Ashley.  They had fun baking and jumping on the trampoline together.  

The kids had fun playing playground tag.  Everyone was happy and having a great time.

Hallee wanted to show me all of her tricks on the play ground.

This girl, I just adore her.  She is so kind, thoughtful and easy going.  She has had a red bump under her eye for a couple of months.  We have tried different things to see if it would go away, but nothing has worked so I took her into the doctor yesterday.  He said it was a growth on the blood vessel, which is why it kept bleeding so much.  He gave her a shot to numb her face and then cut it off and then used a very hot tool to burn the area to stop the bleeding.  She didn't complain a bit and sat completely still for all of it.  The doctor was so impressed.  She makes so many things easier for me!

I know I'm biased, but I think Jonah is so cute!

After we played at the park for a while the sisters went and got pizza for dinner.  It was nice to have some time to visit while we waited for the pizza.

After pizza we all went to Leatherbys.  I didn't take very many pictures while they were here, but I tried to get one of each activity.  On Sunday we went to mom's after church and ate dinner and visited. 

On Monday I let Caitlyn and Jonah miss school so they could go to Classic with their cousins.  They had so much fun.  We spent most of the day there and then Caitlyn went to a movie with them and Jonah and I headed back because he had soccer practice. 

Monday night everyone came to our house and Keith watched all of the kids so me, Julie and Tiff could go to dinner. Lindy and Alexys came too and we met Kyle there.  It was fun to visit and laugh a lot!  On Tuesday all of my kids went to school and Julie took the kids back to Classic.  I took her kids there and stayed and visited with Julie while they played.  I think I talked to Julie more at Classic those two days than I have in years.  It was great!

On Wednesday my kids missed school to go swimming.  Caitlyn had a band festival so she couldn't miss, but the boys were thrilled to miss school and spend the day with their cousins.

Julie came down here and we went to the Provo Rec Center.  We all had fun swimming and Julie and I had more time to visit.

I was shocked to look over and see Wyatt jumping off the rock wall (I may have visited too much and not watched my kids enough, luckily everyone was okay).  That night the kids all stayed here and played while Tiff and I went up to Salt Lake and visited with Julie.  Keith got to go to the Jazz game that night so the kids were on their own.  They did great and enjoyed their last night with their cousins.  On Thursday my kids went to school and I took Julie's kids over to Tiff's where Lindy watched all of the kids so me, Tiff, Mel and Julie could go to lunch.  It was great to have one last chance to visit.  After that they headed back to Salt Lake and they left early Friday morning.  It was so fun to have this time with the Ham family.  We all love them and love any chance we get to spend time with them!
