Farewell to the oboe

Caitlyn had her last band concert last week.  She is on the front row on the left side in this picture.  She is both relieved and sad that she is finished with band.  

I'm proud of her for working so hard and sticking with it even when she didn't want to. She sounds great on the oboe and it is a tough instrument. 

Wyatt had a soccer game right after Hallee's dance recital today.  They took pictures after the game.  His Lindon team is very different than his Provo team!  His team struggles, most of the boys are distracted and have a hard time even kicking the ball.  

Wyatt and Rockwell carry the team.  Wyatt plays goalie for half of the game.  He is really good at goalie.  He had to work hard today because the other team took a ton of shots.  He was disappointed that he didn't block them all, but he blocked a ton!  I was so impressed with how he would dive for the ball and grab it away from a players foot!

Wyatt played forward for the second half of the game.  He was on fire.  He made two awesome goals and worked so hard to get the ball and dribble it around people.  Rockwell made the other goal for our team, he had an awesome high shot.  I love how Wyatt and Rockwell work so well together.  Whenever it is their turn for a throw in they will move really fast and throw it in to each other before anyone else is set up.  Wyatt was so proud of himself today, he played awesome! We were waiting to take pictures and Wyatt yelled, "my underwear is wet and it is sticking to my butt!"  His coach got a good laugh about that.  That butt sweat will get you every time!
