All of my kids agree that online school is the worst. They have all gained a whole new appreciation for school. I hope and pray they will be able to go back in the Fall.
The Lakeview staff had a parade last Friday. Hallee was so excited to see her teacher and she was really excited that her teacher brought her dog in the car. Mrs. Bertuzzi wrote each students name on the car along with a message about how she misses them. Hallee got to talk to her for a minute through the window.
Wyatt's teacher drove a Razor. She told me to take a picture, but I couldn't get Wyatt to move over fast enough so you can't see her very well. Wyatt loves Mrs. Young. It breaks my heart that he didn't get to finish the year with her. She has been so good for him and he has enjoyed school so much, which was a relief after his rough year the year before.
Some of the staff went all out decorating their car. Wyatt and Hallee loved seeing all of the teachers. They were really excited to see the PE teacher, music teacher and librarian.
After the parade Mel, Amarie and Tiff and the kids came over and we all went to the parkway.
The parkway is my happy place right now.
The boys had a blast on the tire swing.
They are all such handsome, fun boys!
Damon has the best smile. He is so fun to be around because he is always smiling and happy and everything he says and does is so cute!
Damon wanted to push Jonah on the swing. He didn't let go when the swing started going high and he went for a ride and then fell in the dirt, that didn't stop him from smiling though.
Damon wanted to show his mom that he climbed this tree. Tiff was over with the girls so I told him that I would take a picture to show her. I can't even stand how cute he is!
The kids always love to throw rocks in the water.
Mel and I rode scooters over to the skate park and went down the hills. It was so fun. Later we all rode over to the skate park. The kids had fun going down the hills. It was a fun afternoon.
Another day I took Hallee and Wyatt to the skate park and we rode scooters for a while and then played Frisbee. We kept getting the frisbee stuck in the tree so we also played throw the water bottle in the tree to try and get the frisbee back. The weather was perfect and we had a lot of fun.

I agree that online school is the worst and hope the kids go back to school in August! The teachers parading for the children looked like a fun thing for the kids to remember. It looks like you all had fun at the parkway and I'm so glad that it is close to you so you can enjoy it easily.
