I got to spend a week in Oregon. It was one of the most fun weeks of my life. Jacob, Ammon and I decided to make a cool fort in a tree. It was hard work. We had to carry up big wood boards and nail them down to the branches that we thought would work good.
The fort turned out great.
Lindy took us to a river, that was lots of fun.
We had a water fight with squirt guns.
We did a little hike down the river. Near the end we fully dunked ourselves. The water was freezing
On Friday night we went to the mountains to stay in a cabin. The cabin was really nice. On Saturday morning we went on a 7 1/2 mile hike and it was long, but lots and lots of fun.
On our way down the hike aunt Julie tripped down the trail and broke her foot.
Lindy and Gary had to switch off carrying her down the mountain. I felt really bad.
We also played hide and seek around the whole cabin. The cabin was huge. It had 7 floors. We watched movies, and ate lots of candy that Jacob, Ammon and I stocked up on.
One day Lindy took me, Jacob and Ashley to Seaside.
We rented a surrey bike and rode it around the town.
We also looked in the shops so I could find presents for my siblings. We walked around the beach for a while. It was a lot of fun.
I loved spending time with Gary and Julie and their family. We played a lot of board games, Legos and jumped on the trampoline. It was fun to have time with Caleb since I haven't seen him much. I liked being the only visitor and getting that time with their family. I'm so glad I got to go.
