Halloween 2020

Wyatt really wanted to be Marshmallow (he's a DJ) for Halloween.  When we went to buy his mask Hallee picked out her costume, Joy from Inside Out.  They got to wear their costumes to school on Thursday and do a virtual Halloween parade for the parents.
Hallee got to wear her costume to dance that day as well.  She decided the Joy wig was too itchy so she switched to a witch costume for dance.
Thursday night I went out to dinner with Allison while Caitlyn and Jonah hung out with Max and Grace.  We haven't seen them for a long time, so we all loved catching up with them.   I love to talk to Allison, we think similarly and we struggle with the same things, so I always walk away feeling understood and validated!
On Friday my kids wanted the Barth's to come over and play.  Tessa was already going to a friends house so Damon came over to play with Hallee.  They had so much fun together.
They played make-believe nonstop.
Wyatt and Rockwell set up some jumps in the backyard.
Wyatt decided he loves parkour all of the sudden.  He is constantly looking for something to jump over.
Jonah went to a Halloween party Friday night.  He said it was a little awkward at first with boys on one side and girls on the other, but everyone got more comfortable and he had a great time.
On Saturday he went trick-or-treating with a big group of kids from school.
Jonah had his first basketball game on Saturday.  Because of Covidd-19 only one parent can attend each game.  Keith went this time.  I hate missing his game!  He had a great game and had lots of points and great plays.
Caitlyn stayed at Mel's house for two nights before Halloween.  She had a great time.  Her and Amarie made these cute M&M costumes.
Tiff and Paul invited us all over that night for a Halloween party.  We let Hallee and Wyatt choose between going to Tiff's or go trick-or-treating.  They both immediately chose Tiff's house!
Mel brought the girls down and my parents came too.  It was a really fun night.
We played games, had a fire, visited and the kids had a blast playing together and watching a movie. It was a great way to spend Halloween!
On Sunday we went to my parents house to celebrate Tessa's and Mel's birthday.
The weather has been amazing.  It is still warm and beautiful outside.
The leaves are falling, but the Parkway still looks gorgeous.

I loved seeing Wyatt's and Hallee's costumes. They looked so cute! I know I saw Wyatt's mask on Halloween but I sure couldn't picture the costume so it was fun to see them. Hallee's costume for dance was great also. I'm glad you were able to get together with Allison and that she's someone you can really talk to and feel understood! That's great! It was so much fun at Tiff's house on Halloween, wasn't it? We loved being with so many of the family then and on Sunday!
