Bear Lake

Friday morning we got up and got ready and headed over to Bear Lake.  We knew it would be crowded because of the holiday weekend, so we tried to get there first thing in the morning.
We are in a drought so the water is really low.  We were able to park right on the beach.  It was nice to have the van right there so we could just leave things in there.
The girls had a blast playing in the water.  I love the patterns of the sand underneath the water.
I was worried that the water was going to be freezing, especially since we have spent the last month in Arizona and Mexico, but it really wasn't bad.  It was cold for a minute, but you got used to it really quick.
I'm glad we remembered to throw in our sand toys because the boys had a blast playing in the sand.
I can't believe how grown up these boys are.
Elena and Lori stayed back at the house because Elena wasn't feeling great.  Mel stayed back as well because she dislocated her shoulder so she was being really careful.
All the teenagers and some of the adults had fun playing spike ball.
The adults had fun visiting while the kids played.
We sure have some amazing men in our family!  They are all so kind, generous and hard working.
These kids worked hard building a house and a swimming pool.  It was cute to see Kyle and Cody helping them.
The temperature was perfect, it was hot, but not too hot.  I would get in the water to cool down, but it was comfortable to be out of the water for the most part.
Keith threw the football to the boys and they had fun fighting each other to catch it.
Hallee loved playing in the water, but I told her she had to have someone with her.  I loved looking out and seeing her and Jonah walking out to play in the water together.
We stayed until late afternoon and then we were all ready to head back to the house.  It was such a fun day.

That’s adorable that Jonah and Hallee played in the water together.
