We drove straight from the Phoenix airport to Mexico. We stopped to pick up some groceries and we were on our way. I went straight to the balcony when we got there to soak in that view!
Once I unpacked I couldn't wait to get down to the pool. I love walking through that tunnel into paradise. I stayed in the pool for a while and Matt joined me. Mel and Tiff went down to the beach and then they all laid out for a while.
The view is breath taking every time!
That night we went to Wrecked at the Reef for dinner. Matt was excited to take us there. We didn't go this summer because it was too hot!
It was such a fun atmosphere. We had our feet in the sand while we ate and there was a live band.
While we were waiting for our food we walked over to look at some of the vendors and enjoy the view.
The sunset was beautiful.
The weather was perfect. The temperature was just right and there was no bugs! We enjoyed sitting there for a few hours.
We woke up at 3:30 AM in Texas, which is 1:30 AM in Arizona, so the day felt very long. We were all pretty exhausted that night. Spending the evening eating on the beach was the perfect way to spend our first night.
On Sunday we all enjoyed relaxing on the beach. It was so different to be there in October with the cooler weather. It was the perfect temperature to lay on the beach.
I was definitely in my happy place.
We sat in the hot tub and watched the sun go down that night.
We had fun playing games at night when we went inside. We laughed so hard. My siblings are hilarious!
On Monday we laid out on the beach again. It was so nice to visit and read while we all relaxed.
Tiff took this picture of me. I love to stand in the ocean and let the waves crash into me.
The water was a little cold at first, but it didn't take long to get used to it.
Monday night we enjoyed the sunset from the hot tub again.
It was nice to have so much uninterrupted time to visit. There are always so many distractions and interruptions, but not here!
Tiff got this picture of me and Matt in the hot tub from the balcony.
It just doesn't get any better than sunset on the beach.
Tiff got this great panoramic picture. It is such a perfect set up there, you really can't beat it.
Tuesday morning we got up and drove back to Arizona. We flew back to Utah that afternoon. Time went too fast! I'm so grateful that I had this opportunity to go with my siblings. I wish Gary could have come too, but it was during his tax deadline. My favorite place with my favorite people, it doesn't get better than that. Thanks for another great trip Matt!

Beautiful pictures and I'm so happy that our children love each other and want to spend time together and just have so much fun! I'll bet you were all a little tired there on Saturday after your early morning. I'm so grateful that you could make it to Chris's funeral and to Rocky Point!
I want to go back!!
