Lets get this party started!

We have been planning a 50th wedding celebration for my parents for the last nine months.  Everyone worked hard and made a big effort to give them an amazing experience. It was finally time to party and we were ready.
We started it off on Saturday July, 2nd at Katie's house.  Katie and Critter were lifesavers and provided the venues for us.  Tiff talked to them and got everything arranged and figured out. It was perfect.
Katie's backyard was the perfect place to gather.  The kids were happy in the pool and the adults could swim or visit in the shade.
EJ didn't find out until the last minute if he could get work off, we were so grateful that he did and that he and Ofa came into town! Gary and Julie came straight from Peru and were supposed to get her Friday night, but didn't get here until Saturday morning.  I'm sure they were exhausted and stressed, but they didn't show it.
It was Elijah's 21st birthday that day.  It's still hard to believe that my nieces and nephews are so old.
I love seeing the cousins together!
The younger kids spent the whole time in the pool.
I think mom's happy place is watching her family have fun together.
We got pizza for lunch and had fruit, veggies, lots of snacks, popsicles and ice cream sandwiches.
The girls took turns doing tricks off the diving board.
Jonah, Jacob and Cody had fun in the pool for a while and then wanted to borrow a car and go get a soda and go to a store.  Jonah loved the freedom of leaving with his cousins.
I love watching them play basketball together.
I love love love watching the cousins laugh and play together.
It was the perfect set up.  Everyone could visit, swim and eat!
These two always have a blast together.
We swam as long as we could until it was time to go home and get ready for our next activity.

We sure loved, loved, loved our celebration! Katie and Critter were so kind to host us and you all planned so many wonderful activities! Hallee and Tessa are so cute and I loved the picture of them and also the last picture of Dad with his sons- what a good looking group!
