We struggled figuring out where we could have our program and dinner because it was on Sunday, so we couldn't reserve our church. Tiff mentioned it to Katie and she told us about an old church building in Critter's stake that they don't use for meetings anymore. He was able to reserve it for us and it was perfect.
We had things planned, but I didn't have it all organized like I wanted. Matt helped me walk through it all and helped me figure out how we wanted to do it. We had a table with a guest book right when you walked in. The guest book was big enough for everyone to write them a note. Then we had the games "who knows the couple best" and human bingo.
Luckily Lori offered to do a balloon arch and that really made it look nice. I'm not very good at decorations, so I was grateful that she took that on. I met her and Matt over at the building at 11 AM to set up. I'm really glad we went early because it was messy and needed to be cleaned. I'm so grateful that Elena, Caitlyn and Wyatt came with me because they helped a ton. We were all ready when everyone started showing up around 1 PM.
The set up was perfect. The boys had fun playing basketball on one side of the gym and we had the tables set up on the other side of the gym.
Everyone had fun visiting and playing games.
It's fun to see all of the cousins interact. I love that they all visit with everyone.
Mel, Tiff and Julie planned the menu while Julie was here in March. It was great to have that done and me, Mel and Tiff just picked things up when we saw good deals. We made sure to have lots of snacks and I think the kids and adults liked that!
You can see the balloon arch in the back. It looked so cute!
Cute girls!
I loved going from group to group and hearing everyone talking and laughing and then I'd make them stop and smile for the camera, Sorry!
I was excited that everyone seemed to enjoy the games I had planned.
Caleb and Johanna drove up Saturday after work, so they made it just in time for Stadium of Fire. I'm so glad they could be here!
We are a funny bunch because there is always a lot of laughing when we get together.
The three youngest grandkids.
And the three oldest grandkids, all grown up and married!
I left my phone in the kitchen and Jonah left me a few fun surprises!
I'm so glad that Keith and my dad get along so well and enjoy each others company so much.
This table was the happening place.
Tiff said I needed to be in some pictures so she took this one with me in it.
Wyatt was in heaven with Rockwell and Ammon.
I love Matt in the background of this one.
We had a yummy dinner.
I snapped a picture of all of the tables and then I was ready to sit down and eat.
