12-years-old

Time is such a crazy thing.  Some days and weeks seem to last forever, but the years fly by.  I can't believe Wyatt is already 12-years-old.  He's got one more year of Elementary School left since we didn't have him start until he was six.  I'm really happy with that decision, I think it was the right one for him.  I'm glad he has one more year before middle school, I'm glad I have one more year before middle school again!
Wyatt is really into Legos lately.  He loves building things and seeing how things work.  He has an engineering mind and he is always coming up with new ways to use it! He loves math and science and starts every day by asking his alexa to tell him a fun fact.  He loves to rattle off random facts and riddles.  He picks things up quickly and remembers them.  He loves to read, especially when it's a book series he is interested in.  His favorite book series are Michael Vey, Harry Potter and Wings of Fire.
Wyatt is so creative and persuasive.  He and Rockwell put together a presentation on why Rockwell should be able to come home with us.  They had great points like; families are forever, so we need to spend time together, Mel was coming over and they knew she would want to see Rockwell, I didn't need to stress about dinner because we had already planned on getting pizza and they also promised inflation would go down, but didn't really explain how, ha! It was so funny and got a yes from both moms! Wyatt loves to add "and before you say no" when he asks if he can do something and then he explains why I should say yes.
Wyatt loves Dr. Pepper and frozen peas.  That was his snack of choice when we watched a movie together.  Wyatt loves to watch YouTube and make short videos to post on his YouTube channel.  He is very clever and they are always funny.  Wyatt likes to play video games and loves Marvel movies.  Wyatt doesn't like to do anything for too long and moves from one thing to the next.
Wyatt still loves to break dance and wears a Breakin Circles shirt pretty much every day.  He loves the studio and feels a sense of belonging there.  He has made great friends and built confidence.  Wyatt loves to hang out with friends. He is usually with Eddie or Dallin.  They have started fishing at the river trail and Wyatt is really enjoying that.
Wyatt is a great son and brother.  He is very good at expressing gratitude and always thanks Keith and I for everything we do for him.  He is kind to his siblings and is very good at showing interest when they are excited about something.
Wyatt is a hard worker and loves to do big jobs.  He always has big ideas and is willing to work hard to make things happen. He loves to cook and often makes waffles for breakfast.
He is such a good looking boy and I love his smile and his laugh.  He has the best sense of humor.
Wyatt tells me that he has ADHD and he is probably right.  He has such a hard time keeping track of things or putting things away.  I get so tense every time I walk in his room because there is stuff everywhere.  There are always hangers on the floor, he can never find his wallet and I can never open his closet door without it banging into something.  Last week I found his wallet on the back lawn, it had been there all night and gotten soaked from the sprinklers. He is getting better at cleaning up, but sometimes I just clean his room up because I can't take it anymore.  He always thanks me and I really think he tries, so I'm getting better at just letting things go.
Wyatt is just an all around great kid.  We are so grateful to have him in our family.

I sure loved the presentation that he and Rockwell did to convince you and Tiff to let Rockwell come home with Wyatt! They are creative boys. I would like to hear about how inflation would go down. That was so funny and yet also sweet and I'm glad that you and Tiffany told them yes.
