District Award Night

Hallee was excited for the district awards for Reflections.  We curled her hair and she looked so grown up and so beautiful.

We were glad it was at Provo High.

They called the winners up from each category.  Here is the Literature group.

Hallee was a little surprised that she got a trophy for winning on the school level and a certificate and ribbon for winning on the district level. 

After they read all of the names they displayed the work of each winner.  Here is Hallee's story.  She did such a great job on it.  She is such a great writer.  

They gave each kid these cool fidget spinners and Hallee and I decided those were better than a trophy. We are so proud of Hallee for working so hard and even better, she is proud of herself.

We stopped to look at the banner Caitlyn had her picture taken for.  Mrs. Hoffman asked her to represent AVID on the senior banner.  She is holding up the flag. It was fun to see that.
