Show time!

Hallee and I have been looking for an outfit for her performance for a while.  It's a big deal that she was asked to sing in the grand finale concert and she wanted to make sure she looked good!

She wanted to look like a rock star.  We found the dress at Ross and we needed a jacket.  We bought the dress, but couldn't find a jacket to go over it.  We decided to try this one she already had and it looked great.  She found some boots that were a little small, but she said they would work.  I loved her outfit, she looked so good!

Hallee had to wear her hair half up and half down for her dances.  We were going to curl the bottom, but Caitlyn took the curling wand with her to Ashlyn's wedding and the curing iron would not curl her hair. 

We got to the theater nice and early so Hallee wouldn't be stressed.  She wasn't feeling stressed or nervous that day, so that was a huge relief.

They had two shows.  Hallee hung out with her dance class backstage during the show.  She said they played games and ate snacks and had fun.

I'm a little sad about how old my baby looks!

Hallee's first dance was "Walking on Sunshine." It was such a fun dance.

I love watching Hallee perform.  She looks like she is having so much fun.

Her facial expressions are so good!

Her timing and technique are always spot on. 

Her second dance was "Beautiful Life." It was beautiful.

Hallee sang, "Try" by Pink.  She sounded and looked amazing.

She walked all around the stage and dropped to her knees during one part of it.  The whole performance was so fun. 

This was her ending pose. I was glad they had two shows so I could watch it twice!

At the end of the show they play a song and do a slideshow of all of the performers.  Hallee had fun dancing with her friends.

Mom and dad and Mel came to the first show.  

Tiff and Tessa came to the second show.  I sure appreciate them all giving up their Saturday to come watch Hallee.  It means a lot to her and to me.

Keith and I loved watching both shows.  We went to 7-11 and got drinks after.  I was going to get Hallee flowers and I totally spaced it, she told me that was okay, she would rather have a Slurpee.
