May Happenings

Lisa asked me if we could make a sign for Ms. Pearce's door for teacher appreciation. I never volunteer for the art stuff, but I said yes since she needed someone.  She gave us a bin with stickers and it had these bees in it so we found a saying with bees online. It turned out cute.
The night we made it Hallee came out of bed panicking because she realized that we did it backwards, we had the doorknob and window on the wrong side.  I was able to peel most of it off and put it on the right side. We went over on Friday and hung it up.
Katie and Ben asked if they could take us to dinner.  Everyone is so nice and generous to us! Tiff and Paul joined us. We left all the kids at our house and went to Chilis.  Caitlyn got home while we were gone and they were just leaving to go to the park when we got home. She is such a nice older sister.
Wyatt had his breakin performance.  He did amazing as usual.
We loved having grandma and grandpa there for it.
I love my morning walks on the river trail.  I never get tired of the sound of rushing water.
I proctored AP tests at Timpanogos again this year.  I'm so grateful I was able to do that to earn some money. I ended up doing ten tests, so that will be a nice paycheck.  They are also letting me proctor an ACT test next Saturday. I'm grateful for that because I have had no luck finding a job. I have gotten less picky and applied for things that I wouldn't have a couple of months ago and I'm still not getting any interviews.  It's so discouraging.
Keith is getting so discouraged.  He isn't getting many interviews and when he does he feels like they go well and then they don't call him back.  He was really discouraged after not getting a job he thought he had a good shot at getting.  Caitlyn came home with treats to cheer us up. She is so sweet. Keith had an interview with a lady from workforce services and she told him that his resume looks great, he interviews well and has great experience. She told him the job market is the worst she has seen it and she has been doing this for a while. That helped lift Keith's spirits a bit, he was starting to feel like he was doing something wrong.  This has not been easy on him.
Sawyer answered Jonah for morp with a cute poster.
Hallee has been working hard getting ready for Hope of America.
The night of the show they moved her and Trinity and put them in white shirts and put them in the flag.
The program is so good! I love going to it.  The military number always makes me cry.
I love that this program teaches the kids about American history and patriotism.
The song at the end about being a light is a tear jerker too. The whole program is fantastic!
Hallee came with us to one of Jonah's Lacrosse games.
I never get tired of that mountain view.
We went to Tiff's for a mothers day celebration. I held Zariyah while EJ and Ofa ate dinner. I took her outside and Hallee said, "why does her shirt say Big Sister."  No one else had noticed that her shirt said, "promoted to big sister!"
I ran inside and Ofa and EJ were just waiting for someone to notice.  It's so exciting, they are having a boy in October!
The boys had so much fun playing with Zariyah. She kept giving them high five and knuckles and they loved it.
Me and Hallee had fun reading books to her.
I just love spending time with Zariyah.  Everything she does is so cute. These babies make life so fun!
The boys let the girls paint their toenails if they promised to play tag with them, ha!
Julie came into town for a few days to bring Lindy back up here.  They invited me to go to a play with them.  I was so glad because that was the only time I got to see Julie that trip.  I was in the middle of AP testing so it was a crazy week. I love any chance I get to spend time with Julie and Lindy.
I love when the kids come in our room at night and talk and laugh!
Sometimes I find surprise pictures on my phone.
Hallee got to help with field day this year.  She was excited about that.
I dropped Wyatt off at FSY on Memorial Day.  I can't believe he is old enough to go.
He was so excited to go with Rockwell.  They were both so excited and couldn't wait for their moms to leave! They had a great time. I will have Wyatt post about that.
Jonah worked on Memorial Day and then went with his friends to jump off a bridge in Provo canyon.
He had fun doing backflips off the bridge.
After that they went and bought a ribeye and cooked it up.  He had a great time with Bryant and Christian.
Hallee and I went to Tiff's a few times this week.  The kids had a blast playing in the sprinklers and with water balloons. It was weird to have Wyatt gone all week.
Hallee and Tessa put on a dance show for us. It was so cute.
Mel came over to Tiff's too and the three of us went walking in the canyon. It was beautiful and felt so good!
Today Lindy came over to bake with Hallee.  They made cheese cake cookies and they are delicious.  We loved having Lindy here and being able to catch up with her. I'm excited she's back in Utah!
