Life Lately

Hallee had a choir concert.  They sounded great.

 

The Young Women brought her flowers, that was so sweet.

We've had fun watching Jonah's La Crosse games.  I love watching the sun set during the game.

I love that mountain view.

Jonah is playing great.  They usually get beat pretty bad, but I love Jonah's good attitude about it. He plays hard and has fun.

One game was snowy and freezing.

Sawyer sits with Keith and I during the game, we love that. It's fun to talk to her and get to know her better.

Mel came last week.  It was so nice of her to drive all that way and I loved visiting with her.

Caitlyn is having a good semester.  She is enjoying her classes. She loves her new social work major.  She is also taking a horseback riding class and she is really enjoying that.

She had fun at Casino Night with her roommates.

Caitlyn and Amarie have fun hanging out.  Last weekend they went to St. George to watch Tessa's Gymnastics meet.  Caitlyn loved watching her and said she did great.

Wyatt loves to grill.  

Wyatt got a job!  He is a working at Medallion Manor, a nursing home for adults with disabilities.  His friend's sister works there and she helped him and Anna get a job there. He washes dishes.  He has done a few training shifts and he's enjoying it so far.  He's really excited about earning money. It's close enough that he can ride his bike there if he needs to. I took him and Hallee to open checking accounts.  They are pretty excited to have debit cards.  They rode their bikes to 7-11 to buy a treat and use their cards. 

Halle wanted me to do a face mask with her.

Hallee was in my room talking to me and I couldn't get over how beautiful she is.  This girl is just beautiful inside and out.

Hallee had a job shadow day at school.  She was excited to come to work with me.  She got right in and wanted to work.  She even caught a mistake I've been making, so I was able to fix that! 

I had a food voucher and Karrie gave me another one so Hallee and I could go to lunch. Hallee wanted  Chick-Fil-A.

It was fun to spend the day with Hallee. Everyone loved her at work.  Hallee said she liked my job and the people I work with. She had fun talking to Brie while I was busy with something. It was a fun day!

Tiff was so nice and picked up Hallee and took her swimming during Spring Break.  The day before that Hallee and Wyatt went to Tiff's.  I'm glad they got some time with their cousins!  Thanks Tiff and Paul!

There was a nasty flu that went through mom's building so I didn't see her for over a week. Last Friday I finally got to see her.  The sickness hit her hard, poor mom! She was doing better on Friday.  Dad wanted to pluck mom's chin hairs and kept making comments that made mom laugh.  Mel came over too and we had fun visiting. We try to make mom laugh as much as we can.  She was pretty tired, but we had some good laughs.
