Easter

Dad and I were at mom's place when they did a Easter Egg hunt. Mom wasn't so sure about it at first, so we helped her find the eggs.
The activities director realized that no one had found the big eggs so she told us where to go to get one.  While we were walking there mom said, "I think we are cheating." I assured her that we weren't cheating and that we were helping her find the eggs.  Mom has changed so much, but she is still the same loving, honest person that she has always been.
They had a prize table that the residents got to chose from based on how many eggs they found. It was utter chaos and way over all of their heads. I'm glad we were there to help mom.  Dad helped her pick her treats. Each visit with mom is so different.  You never know what you are going to get.  She was pretty teary eyed that day.  She is talking less and less and is definitely decling physically.  It just breaks my heart over and over.  I hate seeing her suffer like this.
Hallee looked so pretty for church on Easter Sunday.
Caitlyn had finals the next week so she wasn't here for Easter.
Hallee and I worked hard on Saturday to get everything ready for Easter dinner.  We made two batches of the coconut eggs and I messed up both of them. Oh well, we had fun making them together. Dad was going to come to dinner, but he was sick so he couldn't come. It was hard to not have mom or dad with us for Easter.  We invited Lindy over for dinner, it was great to have her with us.
Hallee was excited to find her Easter basket after church.
She is such a beauty and looking older every day.
Jonah found his basket pretty quickly.
It took Wyatt a long time to find his.
Everybody was happy with their basket.  We left a basket with Caitlyn when we saw her for her birthday.
The last few years we have only done money in the eggs, so there weren't very many to find.  Hallee asked if we could do more eggs this year, so I did some candy ones too.
Hallee and Wyatt had fun finding them.
Jonah laid on the floor and said he only wanted one money egg.  Hallee and Wyatt were happy to keep the rest of them.
Jonah did finally get up and help them look for some eggs in the kitchen.
Wyatt made rings with his money during our lesson.
Keith surprised me with an Easter basket of my favorite treats.  It was a nice Easter.  Church was great and we had a great lesson on Jesus Christ.  We are so grateful for our Savior and His sacrifice for us.
