Dedicated to Grandma

Hallee had her Christmas recital and sang a solo on Saturday.  She chose to sing one of grandma's favorite Christmas songs, "Mary Did You Know?" and dedicate it to grandma. It was on December 20th so three months to the day that grandma passed away.
Sawyer came with us to watch.  We took a picture to send to Jonah before the show started.
She told everyone she was dedicating this to her grandma who passed away three months ago before she started singing. It brought on the tears for me and Tiff.
She loved having Tiff and Tessa there to watch.
Hallee asked me if I could get her flowers because that would make her feel like grandma was there because she always brought her flowers or a treat. So of course I got her some flowers from grandma.
One of the hardest things about losing my mom is watching my kids lose their grandma. She was such a wonderful grandma and brought so much love and goodness into their lives. It makes me so sad that they don't have that anymore. They all miss her so much.
Hallee did amazing and it was such a beautiful, touching performance.
Tessa came home with us after and we stopped at Cafe Rio for lunch.
Hallee also had her Christmas choir concert last week.  She looks so grown up and beautiful.
They sang some fun Christmas songs.
Hallee always does such a great job. She is always practicing and singing at home.
Hallee introduced "Fruitcake."

She loves being in choir with Trinity.
At the end all of the choirs combined and sang Silent Night.  They all had a candle and they turned the lights off and had the audience join for one of the verses.  It was really cool.
