It's official, my little girl is six-years-old. Caitlyn is a sweet, fun little girl who has given us a lot of laughs over the past six years. She is very smart and very inquisitive. She wants to understand how and why things work. She is very sensitive to other's feelings. She loves to be out doing things. She is always using her imagination when she plays. She loves any type of art and writing stories. She loves playing with her friends and cousins and is a great big sister. We feel very blessed to be Caitlyn's parents.
The day before her birthday we went to Toys R Us. They made a big fuss over her and she used her gift certificate to get this dog in a carrier.
Caitlyn had school on her birthday. She was excited to get a crown and have everyone sing happy birthday to her. I wasn't going to do a party for her this year, but I found an awesome deal for Jungle Jims. The only problem is we had to limit who she invited because we had a limited number of tickets. Everyone met at our house and with help from some friends we took all the kids up there. It was hard to keep them off the rides long enough to let Caitlyn open her presents and eat cupcakes.
Caitlyn had a blast with all of her friends. She kept saying, "mom this is the best birthday party ever!"
The kids loved the little roller coaster. I don't know how they went on it over and over. Just watching it made me sick. I'm so old!
Jonah was so excited for Caitlyn's birthday. He was such a good sport about being excited for her and not being jealous of the presents. He had a couple of boys at the party that he had fun playing with, but he looks pretty happy with the girls here.
Wyatt was a good sport. He got restless, but he was good as usual. He even took a nap, I'm not really sure how with all that noise.
With a little more help Keith took all the kids home and I stuck around with the kids for more rides. It was nice to have some friends and family there to visit with while the kids rode the rides. Keith's parents met us there for dinner. Caitlyn was very excited with her new Tangled barbie and movie that they gave her.
Grandma was sweet and brought Jonah a present too. He loved his new spiderman flashlight.
Wyatt had fun riding on Dad's shoulders and trying to pull out his hair.
It was fun to spend the day fussing over Caitlyn and watching her have so much fun. It worked out great that she didn't have school the next day. She got to stay up late and play with her new toys with Mom and Dad. We love this little girl.
