No training wheels!

Caitlyn was thrilled to master a two-wheeler this week.  She gets so nervous about things so she hasn't wanted to try, but she decided she wanted to do it this week.  I worked with her a little, but she begged Keith to do it one night when he came home from helping someone move.  He was so tired, but being the great Dad that he is he did it anyway.  I know the swimsuit isn't ideal for learning how to ride a bike, but that is how it worked out and luckily she didn't fall off.
It didn't take long before she was cruising around on her own.  I have learned with Caitlyn that she has to be ready for things.  You can't force it on her, she has to decide that she is ready and then she will do it.  She was so proud of herself.
Jonah was so cute trying to help her and cheer her on.  I have noticed him trying to show off more since he isn't the only one that can ride a two-wheeler now. He wanted to show me how he could ride his bike with his eyes closed, but I talked him out of that one!
The weather has been awesome in the evenings.  We have had fun playing outside.
Wyatt loves to swing with the kids.  He laughs every time we push him.
Wyatt is very interested in animals right now.  He loves when I make animal noises and he loves to watch animals.  Caitlyn was excited to show him the puppies next door.  He liked them until he was really close and they started barking.  He likes them more from a distance.
This is what happens when I ask Caitlyn to put the camera away.  She always takes pictures of herself.  It always makes me laugh when I go through the pictures and come across one like this.  She is a funny girl.
Fall soccer started yesterday for Jonah.  He was so excited to play again.  He loved his new uniform and was really excited that Keith is his coach this time.
He wasn't as aggressive as he was last season, but that is how he started out last time. He is a little timid the first game and then lets loose.
He did great and scored six goals.  He always has great control of the ball.
He loves soccer, but informed me last night that he needs to play baseball because he played with someone last night and they told him he was really good.  He loves any type of sport.   He has so much energy and sports are so good for him.  It was fun to watch him play again.

Both my older kids still have training wheels. Is it bad that I'm in no hurry to take them off? Adam is a scardy cat and I just get tired of fighting so I figure when he's ready (likely because none of his friends still have training wheels) he'll just do it, no fighting, no tears. Kind of like potty training, right?
