We did our usual Halloween tradition of going to grandma's house for dinner and trick-or-treating with the cousins. The kids always look forward to this. The weather was perfect this year.
Hallee did great. She took a nap during dinner so she was happy and ready to go. Grandma had fun carrying her around.
Wyatt was a pro this year. He ran from house to house and loved seeing all that candy going into his bucket. Jonah was running from house to house, we couldn't keep up with him. Caitlyn had fun, but she was so nervous about all the dogs she could hear barking that she wanted to quit earlier than the other kids. Poor girl, I wish she wasn't so scared of dogs. What was even worse was she was frustrated with herself for being scared. I hate to see her being hard on herself. I think she still had fun, but was happy to head back to grandma's.
The kids couldn't wait to pass out candy when we got home. I think they enjoy this more than trick-or-treating. Jonah told everyone that came to the door that he liked their costume.
Wyatt loved passing out candy. He was so excited waiting for people to come. He got mad at me when I took a piece of candy and made me put it back so he could pass it out. He was really fun to watch. Earlier in the day Keith was able to help out during Jonah's Halloween party at school and I was able to help during Caitlyn's. I was glad to finally get into Caitlyn's class and meet some of her friends and get to know her teachers better. I think the kids had a great Halloween.
