Zoo Lights

Last night we went to see the lights at the zoo.  On Thursday they have discount passes so we decided to take advantage of them.  I was worried it would be packed, but when we pulled up I was really excited to see the parking lot was empty.  Then we found out that we were a half an hour early.  Luckily the kids had fun playing tag with Keith and looking at the water while we waited for the gates to open.  Besides Jonah asking me over and over how much longer, they were pretty patient.
It ended up being packed.  I couldn't believe how many lights they had.  They did a great job decorating the zoo.  We didn't see as many animals as we would have liked, but the lights were really cool.
We were excited that Santa Claus was there.  I was prepping Wyatt all day so he wouldn't be scared. Santa Claus was awesome.  He was so nice and so good with the kids.
I snapped one quick one with Hallee since it is her first Christmas.  I couldn't get her to smile to save my life.
Hallee had no interest in being in her car seat in the stroller.  I carried her for a while and then I tried putting her in the stroller while she was sitting up.  She loved it.
Caitlyn, Jonah and Wyatt had a great time running around and climbing on everything.  We didn't see a lot of animals, but we did see the tiger up close.  Wyatt did not like when he growled.  He kept saying, "lion scary."  I guess he thought it was a lion.
Love these handsome boys!
We all had a fun night.  I think we will want to do this again next year.
