Coloring Eggs

Saturday was such a nice day.  It was the perfect weather.  The kids played outside all afternoon.  We always end up with all of the neighborhood kids at our house.  They were all playing tag and riding bikes.  Even Caitlyn was out riding her bike up and down the street.  She hasn't been outside much lately because she is so scared of dogs. I didn't want to bring them in to color eggs because they were having so much fun.  I waited until almost dinner time and finally brought them in.
They were excited to color the eggs so they came right in.
I can't remember for sure, but I think this is the first year Wyatt has colored them.  He loved it.
Hallee was happy watching and eating her cheerios.
They all like to put the eggs in all the different colors to see what they will look like.
Things like this are hard for me because I hate messes.  I try to avoid anything that I think will be messy (which doesn't work so well since kids make a mess with everything).  I have been doing better at letting go and not worrying about the messes.  Some days are better than others!
That night Keith's parents came over to celebrate Caitlyn's birthday. The kids had fun showing off for them.  Our kids go crazy when people come over.  They all talk at once and want everyone to watch every little thing they do.  It makes for a very loud house!
Hallee liked her new stuffed animal.
Caitlyn was so excited with the new cash register they brought her.  She has been wanting one of these for a while.  She loves to have sales in her room.  We always let the birthday kid stay up late with mom and dad and she chose to do it on Saturday night instead of Sunday.  We spent the night playing shopping together.
It was fun to have the one-on-one time with Caitlyn.  She gets a little goofy at night so she had us all laughing.  Love this girl!
