We asked the Easter Bunny to come a day early. We have church at 9:00 AM and we can barely make it on time on a normal week so I didn't want to try and fit anything in that morning. I liked doing it on Saturday so I think we will do that from now on. Caitlyn and Jonah have been reading the scripture stories a lot so we bought them the Doctrine and Covenants.
Jonah found Wyatt's basket first and couldn't wait to show him where it was.
The kids don't get anything really big for Easter, but they are always excited.
They love finding their baskets. This year they found them pretty quick.

Wyatt was so excited about finding Easter eggs this year. He calls them "rotten eggs" instead of Easter eggs.
There were a lot of eggs up high for Caitlyn and Jonah to find.
I love seeing the kids so excited.

Hallee slept while the older kids found their baskets and eggs. Then it was her turn!

She had to check everything out. It was nice to do all of these things on Saturday and focus on the true meaning of Easter on Sunday. I am so grateful for my Savior and the knowledge that I have that He lives. That knowledge brings so much peace and joy into my life.
