4th of July

The fourth of July started the Hawkins family reunion.  For some reason my mom thought it would be a good idea to plan two family reunions in the same week and then she threw a baptism in there just for fun!  We are glad mom survived.  It was great to see my grandma.  I love to visit with her.  I also got to see some cousins I hadn't seen for a long time, so that was fun.  We went up Provo Canyon for a barbecue.  This is the only picture I took.  Caitlyn played in the water and all the boys played ball.
The ride home from Provo was great for watching fireworks.  Wyatt loved seeing all the fireworks.  Matt and Lori came to stay with us that night.  My kids were so excited they could hardly stand it. We could see fireworks from all over the valley from our yard.  We decided to let the kids stay up and watch them.  Wyatt loved it!
The kids thought it was so fun to be outside so late.  They were riding on bikes and scooters and cheering for all the fireworks.
We had some sparklers so we let the kids do them.  I was surprised that Wyatt wasn't scared of them.  This is the only picture that turned out.
It was so fun to watch the kids run around and play.  We had a hard time bringing them in because they were having so much fun.
Finally we brought them in for their sleepover.  The kids were up until after midnight.  We stayed up visiting with Matt and Lori until 2 AM and then the boys were in my room at 6:50 AM.  It was totally worth it though, it was such a fun night.
