I can't believe Hallee is one-year-old today. This year flew by. I remember thinking I would be pregnant forever last summer and now a whole year has passed. I did a little birthday photo shoot of Hallee the other day. I was really happy with how they turned out.
She started out really grouchy, but Caitlyn was able to make her smile. Mel made her that adorable cake. I can't make a cake look good to save my life.
Hallee is such a fun, feisty, energetic, interactive, happy little girl. She loves to interact with people and she loves to make people laugh. She will say something and then do a fake laugh until you laugh back at her.
She loves to play with toys and look at books. She loves to get into everything around the house. She loves to open cupboards and dump games and books and anything else she can find.
She has just started to love stuffed animals. She says, "bebbe" and hugs them. She also says, "ma ma" and "da da."
Hallee still has a lot of red in her hair. I love it! We think that might be why she is so feisty! She can hold her own with her brothers and sister. Today Wyatt took her new toy and she just sat and screamed at him until she got it back.
I love all the cute facial expressions she makes.
Hallee loves water. She loves her bath, she loves swimming and she loves playing in the water table.
Hallee hates holding still and being restrained. She likes to be moving. She loves to walk with her walker and walk along the furniture. She doesn't dare to walk on her own yet.
We still can't decide if she has hazel eyes or brown eyes. She only has two teeth.
Hallee kept touching the cake, but she hated having her fingers dirty. When we let her eat the cake she thought just putting her face in it was better than getting her hands dirty. It was so funny!
I love Hallee's smile. She has one dimple on her right cheek and her eyes light up when she smiles.
I love her perfect face.
Some how she keeps getting cuter all the time. She is so much fun. She makes all of us laugh all of the time. The kids love watching her do new things. She gets so much love and attention around here. I am so grateful to be her mother. Happy Birthday Hallee!!
