7-years-old

I can't believe Jonah is 7-years-old.  He has grown up and changed so fast.  He was a very easy going baby, but once he started moving he hasn't stopped.  He always keeps me on my toes.  He has a great sense of humor.  He is always saying things that make me laugh.  He loves to laugh and have fun. 

He is so smart.  He blows me away with what he knows and how quickly he can learn new things.  Both of his teachers said his test scores are off the chart.  His English teacher said she has the kids in reading groups, but she doesn't have a group for Jonah because of how far ahead he is.  His French teacher said, "he was born to speak French."  He can do math problems in his head and picks up new concepts very easily.  Learning just comes easy for him and I am so grateful for that!

He is a tough kid.  It takes a lot for him to get hurt or cry.  He is very athletic.  He loves sports and they are a perfect match for his endless energy.  Jonah doesn't stop.  He doesn't need as much sleep as my other kids.  He very rarely sleeps in and is always on the go when he is awake.  He likes to build with blocks and Legos and he loves video games. 

Jonah is very social.  He loves to play with his friends.  He's a little too friendly with the girls.  He says he moves his eyebrows up and down to make them smile.  He loves that the girls chase him at recess and he is constantly talking about who he is going to marry.

Jonah has a heart of gold.  He is always quick to share or give his stuff away.  He always says nice things to me especially when I am having a hard day.  He would do anything for his brother and sisters.  He is constantly playing with Hallee and Wyatt.  He is a big helper around the house.  He will offer to sweep or vacuum for me.  Jonah loves to test the limits and push things as far as he can.  He can drive me crazy and make me laugh at the same time.  I truly feel blessed to be his mom.  I think he will accomplish great things in his life!
