We let Jonah stay up the night before his birthday since it wasn't a school night. He had fun building his new Lego set with dad.
He couldn't wait to open presents when he woke up on his birthday. We let him open most of them and just saved a couple for that night. He was excited about all of them. He gave Caitlyn and Wyatt a hug after he opened his presents, it was so sweet.
We got Jonah this remote control helicopter. He had fun with it, but it wasn't that great. It only flies for a few minutes and then it has to be charged again. I also forgot to buy batteries for the video camera we got him so he couldn't use that. Caitlyn gave him a rocket and the first time he shot that it broke. Keith was able to fix the rocket, but I was pretty frustrated with everything that was going wrong. Jonah was a good sport and had a fun day.
He wanted a Lego cake, so I just put his new Lego set on top of the cake since I can't decorate a cake to save my life!
Later we went to my parents for dinner and to celebrate with the family. Jonah was so funny while he was opening presents. He got excited about all of them.
My mom had some ramen noodles that she didn't want so she asked me if we wanted them. I told her to wrap them up and give them to Jonah because he would think it was really funny. It worked, he thought it was hilarious.
Jonah loves playing with the boys. I'm not sure where Elijah is in this picture. They all had fun playing football.
Jonah had a great birthday. I loved celebrating it with him and making it special for him!
