Yesterday we had our Father/Daughter night for activity days. I'm the only leader right now and I hate planning things like this. I have horrible social anxiety, but you put me in charge of something and I feel like hiding under my bed. I decided to let the girls plan it all to take away some of my stress and it passed something off for them, so it was a win-win! We only had three girls. Our poor ward is so small. Our primary only has about 25 kids on a good week.
We had pizza for dinner and then each of the girls picked some games. We played a few minute-to-win-it games. The girls had a rough time getting the cookie in their mouths without using their hands.
Some of them had a really hard time with this noodle game.
I always feel better if Keith is there. He is so good in social situations and can take over with no problem. He also makes things fun!
We also played musical chairs and charades. Charades was hilarious. Caitlyn picked this game where they had to race across the gym while keeping the marshmallow on the straw. I think everyone had fun. Caitlyn thanked me and told me it was the best night of her life. I sure love that girl.
Jonah was in charge of watching the Wyatt and Hallee in the nursery. He did a good job for a while, but in the end they all ended up in there with us. He found out that babysitting is a lot harder than he thought it was.
I have to add this cute picture of Caitlyn and Amarie. Caitlyn was thrilled to spend the night over there Friday night. They had a great time swimming and playing. We stayed up late with Jonah and watched Nacho Libre. He got a kick out of that. He wouldn't sleep alone because he was scared he would have nightmares, so he ended up on the couch. In the morning he showed me a stuffed animal that sat above him all night and helped keep the nightmares away. I guess Caitlyn taught him that.
On Saturday we all went over to Mel's in the morning because Keith and Earl were at work. After that we went to the park for a little while. It was nice to get out. I don't know why, but those Saturdays that Keith has to work seem so long!

I'm glad you could go to melanie's and have fun!
I am also glad your activity went well, too. Caitlyn's comment was great!
