This is the Place

On Friday I took the activity day girls to This is the Place park.  I was nervous because it was raining the whole way up there, but it stopped when we got there.  It was humid, but it was great not to have the sun beating down on us all day.
I planned it for a day when Keith was home so I could leave all of the other kids home, but he decided to come along and bring the kids.  I didn't have a partner to go with me, so it worked out great.
The school house was really neat when we went for Caitlyn's field trip so I took the girls in there.  It was kind of lame this time.  Last time the lady told them all about what school was like back then and this time she didn't do any of that.  I think they still liked it though.
Wyatt and Jonah had a lot of fun.
Hallee loves to be out seeing new things so she was happy the whole time, even though she missed her nap.
Wyatt was so excited about everything.  I think he did a good job writing his letters!
They each got to pick three activities.  Jonah picked getting a shave! The guy doing it was really funny and made it fun for him.
Most of the girls chose the pony ride for one of their activities.  All of my kids were sure excited about it.  Caitlyn's pony was kind of a dud and kept stopping.  I think it made her nervous when he would stop and start.
Jonah loved it and wanted to do it again.
I was surprised that Wyatt wasn't nervous about it.  He loved it!
Hallee was a little nervous at first, but once the horse started going she was fine.
Everyone had fun jump roping.  I love that Keith got right in there and did it too.
They all chose to decorate a bag and make a necklace.  The bag was great to hold all of their stuff.
We had fun riding the big train around to the different activities.  Jonah and Wyatt chose this little train as one of their activities.  They thought it was pretty fun.
They all liked the boat play ground.
Caitlyn and a few of the girls did the leather stamping.  We took our lunch up there and stayed for a few hours.  It was a really fun activity.  The girls all liked it and my kids had a blast.
