Seven Peaks

Last year we had the pass of all passes.  I wasn't a big fan of Seven Peaks so we didn't renew them this year.  I got an e-mail telling me if I took a survey I would get a pass to get ten people in for free.  I just got it a week or so ago, but we were able to find a date that worked with Mel to take all of the kids.  We went on Saturday so Keith could come and I could keep my sanity!
This summer has been a fun one, but the last month has been killing me.  I have such a hard time keeping the older two entertained without overwhelming myself by dragging the little two all over town.  I think everyone is ready for school to start!  I know our budget is!
It worked out great because everyone had someone to go around with.  Amarie was a good sport until Caitlyn was ready to try the big slides.
Caitlyn finally tried the big slides and she loved them.  This was the other reason I didn't renew the passes, my kids never did the big slides last year, so it really didn't seem worth the trouble of going.
It was so packed when we got there.  They didn't even have any tubes for us to rent.  Some nice people overheard us and just gave us their three tubes when they were leaving.  I love nice people! The crowds got better after we had been there for a  couple of hours.
Jonah and EJ had a good time going around together.  I went down a few slides with them.  I am seriously the biggest wimp.  I was nervous the whole way up the stairs (don't even get me started on those wobbly, high stairs).  I had fun going down the slides after I realized I was not going to fly off of them.
The kids had fun on this rope thing.  I love that Elijah had to lift Jonah up to get on!
Jonah made it across with no problem the first time.  On the second time he was going along fine until he waved at me and then he fell off!
Keith was able to get Wyatt to enjoy the wave pool.  He was terrified of it last year.  Ever since Kiara's baptism he has been talking about getting baptized.  He says he is too scared to go under water.  We keep reassuring him that he gets to chose if he wants to be baptized and by the time he is eight-years-old he probably won't be scared anymore.  Wyatt even invited Max to his baptism today.
Hallee had more fun playing in the tube on the grass.  Neither her or Wyatt were really into much there.  I think they still had fun, but they have a lot more fun at a swimming pool.
We ended up staying for over five hours.  While the kids and I were finishing up riding the slides Wyatt and Hallee had a great time playing on this stage.  We were all exhausted and starving when we left.  I'm glad we were able to do that once this year.
