Wyatt's Party

This was the first year we did a friend party for Wyatt.  We kept it pretty small, but he was so excited about it.  He wanted to have his party when Boston was in town.  He invited four of his friends, Boston, Rockwell, Emily and Eva.
I was excited to spend time with my friends too!  We took this picture before Audrey got there, but it was great to visit with all of them.
We had a water party in our back yard.  Between spray bottles, the little pool, the water table, water balloons, the trampoline and sprinklers the kids were plenty entertained!
Wyatt always calls Emily his girlfriend!
I think the water balloons were the biggest hit.  The only thing I don't like about water balloons is they take so long to fill up and they are gone so quick!  The kids sure had fun with them though.  Caitlyn and Jonah helped me fill them up the day before so it wasn't that bad.
Wyatt wanted a train cake so we made that they day before too.
I had him blow out candles on a cup cake because he has had a cold this week so I figured no one would want to eat the cake if he blew all over it!
He loved all of his presents!  Every single one of them was perfect for him.  He has been having a great time playing with them.
Paul and Jason came over too so we just had them stay and had a barbecue for dinner.  Keith loves any excuse to use his new grill!
Caitlyn and Jonah had fun playing with Kiara.  I'm pretty much in love with this picture.  They are both so cute!
It is so hard with Jonah because he gets so excited about things and gets a little crazy.  He isn't trying to be naughty, he just can't calm down sometimes.  I feel bad because I kept getting on his case to calm down.  I hate feeling like I am always on his case.  He really is a great kid, he just does crazy things sometimes.  For example, he got himself stuck in the bucket we had water balloons in yesterday.  He can drive me crazy and make me laugh at the same time!
Hallee slept through the first half of the party.  She was excited to come out and play when she woke up.  She loved the pool this time.  She wasn't very interested in it on her birthday, but yesterday she was having a great time going down the slide and swimming on her belly.
It was so cute to watch Hallee and Colin play in the cars together.  At one point Colin opened Hallee's door for her before he got in the other car.  So cute!
Here is an example of what a great kid Jonah is.  He is so good with little kids.  He adores Hallee and will do anything for her.  While we were cleaning up yesterday he was giving her rides on his flash rider.  I love watching my kids have fun together.  I think Wyatt's party was a success, we all had a great time!
