Last night we got free tickets to the Jazz game. It didn't start until 8:30 PM, but we decided to go anyway. Caitlyn didn't want to go and we knew Hallee wouldn't enjoy it so Caitlyn offered to stay home and watch Hallee. I was worried about leaving Caitlyn home alone that late. She babysits the kids a lot, but it is always when we are just a few minutes away. She said she wasn't scared so we decided to give it a try. I asked her what she would do if she got scared and she said, "Uh, pray. I always have Heavenly Father." I sure love that girl.
It was fun for Keith and I to finally go together. Usually one of us takes Jonah and the other one stays home.
Wyatt liked this game a lot better than the last one. I think he knew what to expect and he seemed to really enjoy watching the game. He kept asking us what the score was. He loved to clap his hands and yell "DE-FENSE." It was so cute to watch him.
We had two extra tickets so we invited Carlos and Xavier from next door. I didn't want to have to drive anyone home after the game and I knew their mom would let them go even though it was late. It worked out great because Carla was home all night in case Caitlyn needed anything or in case she got nervous. Carla was really nice and sent us with money for snacks. We told her she didn't need to, but she insisted that we all get snacks as a thank you for taking the boys. My boys were thrilled! I'm sure the popcorn and soda was a big reason Wyatt enjoyed this game more than the last one!
Baby Bear came over by us and started spraying people with silly string. The boys were really excited to get their picture taken with him.
Wyatt was so cute last night. I think he loved hanging out with the older boys. Wyatt was nervous about the escalator on the way up, probably because I thought he was with me and he ended up a few stairs below me, whoops. He decided he liked sitting down on the escalator. It was a late night, but it was a lot of fun.
We told Caitlyn to sleep in our bed. She pretended to be asleep when we got home. Little stinker stayed up the whole time. She did great though. She knew she could call us, Carla or grandma and she didn't need to call anyone. It really surprises me that staying home alone like that doesn't scare her. She did bring all of her beanie boos up to keep her company.
Last Saturday Mel and I took all the boys to the game. A while ago I found cheap tickets, which is rare for a Saturday night game. Jonah loved going with his cousins.
We tried to go early for autographs, but it was so crowded that night. Another fun night with my boy.
