Wyatt cracks me up. When he saw the snow this morning he said, "mom, it's like the whole world is baptized, I learned that you know." On Sunday, Wyatt said, "My teacher is so nice to me that sometimes I wish she was my girlfriend, because of how she treats me." He is a funny kid!
The kids were thrilled to see snow on the ground today. It is exciting since we haven't had much this winter. Wyatt couldn't wait to get out and shovel. He worked hard. Wyatt doesn't get allowance yet, but he has been asking about money a lot. While he was shoveling I told him that I would pay him a dollar for his hard work. He looked at me and said, "And I will give you all of my cents for teaching me how to shovel." I sure love that boy!
Hallee and Wyatt were excited to eat all of the snow. I used to tell the kids not to eat the snow, but they never listen to me so now I just focus on eating clean snow.
Today was hat day at school. I can't believe how grown up these two are. I was just looking at them this morning thinking, wow these are some good looking kids!
We were able to have one more play date yesterday before Katie and the kids left this morning. It was Caitlyn's turn to get checked out of school to play with Kiara.
They had a blast together.
The kids all loved playing together again. They had fun playing, basketball, bowling and blocks!
I loved having them all over again. I'm going to miss getting together every night! We really need to get Katie and Ben to move back.
Here is one more cute one of Hallee and Tessa from last week.
One more of Wyatt and Rockwell, love these boys!
I'm not a mushy person, but sometimes I just sit back and think about how lucky I am. Keith is such a wonderful husband. We both have little things that drive each other crazy, but I love spending time with him. He is such a wonderful husband and such an amazing, hands-on father. I know he would do anything for our family. He is always willing to help around the house and he loves to spend time with the kids. Sunday night he did the dishes, which is great by itself, but he let Wyatt and Hallee help him. He is so patient and makes them feel so good about themselves. I am grateful every day that I married such a wonderful man!
Last night we went over to my parents to play games. It was really fun. We were able to play a few rounds of scum and keep all of the kids interest. Hallee helped gather the cards and kept yelling, "pass." The kids made cards for grandpa for his birthday and we brought him a treat. The kids thought it was funny that we went over in our pajamas. It was a really fun night.
