Yesterday during Hallee's nap Wyatt and I built a car out of a big box we had. He told me how fun it was at least ten times. He also said, "mom I wish you were four and as tall as me so you could be my girlfriend." So cute!
Hallee was excited to see it when she woke up.
Jonah wanted to help with the car when he got home. Wyatt had so much fun. He worked on his car for probably five hours yesterday and he has been working on it again today.
We had two big boxes so we decided to make the girls a boat. All of the kids had so much fun. Boxes really are the best toys.
They all attacked Keith when he walked in the door. They were all talking at once about the car and the boat and dragged him right over to look at them.
They love when Keith and I get in there with them. Hallee has been hanging out in her boat coloring today.
The other day Hallee and Wyatt helped me make muffins. They wanted to watch them cook!
We had a fun family night lesson the other day, it was on tithing. This was my favorite lesson when I was a kid because I got ten treats and I only had to give away one. After the kids paid their tithing we read about tithing in Malachi and they all loved when "I opened the windows of heaven and poured out blessings on them" (chocolate chips) for paying their tithing.
Today all of the team leaders from Discover Card had meetings at Desert Star Playhouse. After their meetings they let them bring their spouses and we got to see the play, "Pirates of the Scaribbean." My mom watched the little two and I was able to get home shortly after Caitlyn and Jonah got home from school. It was fun to get out and do something different with Keith. I liked the play a lot more than I thought I would. Discover Card does a lot of things like this. They always thank the spouses and family when we have an event like this. I really like that about his company, they really are a family oriented company.
