Oh yeah, mom is my best friend!!

The other day Wyatt and Hallee were fighting.  Hallee told Wyatt that she wasn't going to play with him anymore and she was going to play with mom.  I heard Wyatt say, "oh yeah, mom is my best friend!"  Hallee came running up to me crying saying she wanted to be my friend, but Wyatt said that he was my friend.  She asked if I could have two friends and I assured her that I can.  Those two fight over the craziest things!
We had Monday and Tuesday off for Spring Break this week.  Keith stayed home on Monday because he still wasn't feeling great.  It ended up being really nice because the kids had some projects that they needed help with.  Keith and Jonah worked on his pinewood derby car and Caitlyn and I worked on her school project.  We had put both of them off so it was good that we stayed home and got them finished.
On Tuesday we went with grandma and Dante and Alexys to the wairhouse.
It was great for the kids to do something physical after being home for a few days.  The boys liked playing dodge ball.
Even Hallee had fun!  She kept wanting me to jump with her, but she had a lot of fun.
It was fun to jump with Hallee and it is a great work out.  I like to get out of the house with the kids because then they have my full attention.  It is so much harder at home when I am looking at the messy house and all of the other things I need to do.  Actually I'm looking at my bed and trying to figure out how I can get a nap!
Wyatt loved playing basketball.  It was perfect for him.  He also did well with dodge ball.  He is such a sensitive kid so I always worry about him when he is with the big kids. He held his own though.
I love watching my kids do tricks.  Caitlyn is really good at hand springs, roundolfs and walk overs. We really need to get her in a tumbling class, she seems to have a knack for gymnastics.  It was a great way to finish off Spring Break.  I wasn't ready for it to end.  We had just the right amount of time relaxing and doing fun things.  I hope summer goes that well!
