The Big Day

We have been celebrating Caitlyn's birthday for weeks, but yesterday was her actual birthday!  Keith went to school to eat lunch with her.  Keith told his boss that he was leaving early to meet Caitlyn for lunch.  His boss told him to use his corporate card and buy lunch on Discover! So Keith decided to bag the McDonalds that he was planning on and he took Caitlyn a Café Rio Salad! He went out to recess with her after lunch and then he took cookies into her class.  Her teacher had Keith get up and talk about Caitlyn.  Caitlyn loved it!
When Caitlyn got home we gave her a few presents and then ate an early dinner.
Caitlyn wanted to go to Classic that night.  It worked out great because activities are only $2 each on Tuesdays.  We started out skating.  I love roller blading with the kids.
Caitlyn strikes a pose every time I pull out the camera.
They played a few games in the roller rink.  One of them was red-light green-light.  Jonah loves any type of competition.  He ended up winning one of the rounds and got a light up ball that my other kids were jealous of!
Wyatt had fun riding around on his scooter.  After a while he just wanted to run around the rink.  We told him he couldn't do that so he ran around the outside of the rink over and over.  Funny kid!
He liked when I pushed him around the rink.  My back didn't like it so much!
I was pleasantly surprised with how much fun Hallee had.  I knew she wouldn't do the bounce houses, but she had a lot of fun riding her motorcycle around.  I couldn't believe how long she stayed on it.  I'm so glad she enjoyed it.
We invited the Becks to come with us.  Adam couldn't come, but Emilee and the kids came.  It was a lot of fun!  Everyone had fun playing and they all loved the donuts we brought.
After we skated for a while they all did the bounce houses.  Keith jumped with them while I stayed out with Hallee.
Keith said Wyatt was really tough and had a great time in there.  I was so glad to hear that, he is a sensitive kid and gets hurt easily.
Jonah and Logan always have fun together. The age difference doesn't seem to be a problem.  They are both rough and tumble boys and like the same things.
Hallee had fun playing while everyone else was in the bounce houses.
Hallee kept asking Kenzee to come play on the cars with her.  It was really cute.
I love this picture!
After they bounced for a while we went back to skating.  I think we were all pretty tired by the time we left.  It was a great way to spend Caitlyn's birthday.  We officially have a 10-year-old in the house!
