Look mom, isn't she stylish?

The other day Hallee and I were playing "Old Maid."  Hallee showed me the picture of the sister and said, "look mom, isn't she stylish?"  I don't know where she comes up with this stuff.

Yesterday we were taking our annual birthday pictures with Jonah and Hallee wanted some pictures with me.  I can't say no to that! 

I sure love this sweet girl.  Hallee is full of personality and opinions.  She always has an opinion and she lets everyone know what it is.  She is so animated when she talks.  Her facial expressions are hilarious.  She is very independent and doesn't want me to help her with anything.

She wanted me to hold her upside down for a picture.  Hallee loves to watch TV.  She could sit and watch shows for hours if I let her.  She loves to play make believe and she loves to color.  She picks things up quickly.  She knows all of her letters and some of the letter sounds.  She always has questions for me.  If I try to give her a quick answer she will say, "come on mom, tell me about it."

Hallee loves to sing and dance, but she is a tough girl too.  She loves to play rough and can be really tough if she needs to be, but she will also milk it when she gets hurt.  Last night she fell at my parents house and she was screaming saying her knee hurt.  When she noticed that Mel and her family were driving off she stopped crying and wanted me to put her down so she could race them.  She ran down the sidewalk as EJ drove away, of course EJ was sweet and let her win.  After the race she went right back to crying about her scraped knee.  She is a whirlwind of emotions and moods!

She will be so grouchy and scream and yell at all of us if things aren't just the way she wants them, but if Wyatt yells at me she will shape up and say, "I'll obey you mom."    When Hallee is upset she usually says, "I don't care mom."  When she is in a good mood she will give us hugs and say, "you are the bestest ever."  She is a daddy's girl.  She tells me multiple times during the day that she misses dad and she gets so excited when he walks in the door.  Hallee is a spitfire and fills her role as the youngest child perfectly!
