Education Week

On Wednesday night we met at Costa Vida for dinner. We both got into town around the same time.  After that we went over to the campus to pick up our registration packets.  They offered a lot of classes, it was hard to chose which ones to go to.
On Thursday morning we went to the campus and checked the kids into their classes.  It was fun to take a few classes with Gary and Julie.  I really liked all of the classes I took.  I learned so much!
You had to be six-years-old to go to the kids classes, so Hallee was stuck with me.  Every day I packed her back pack full of snacks and activities.  She was so good!  She hated walking outside in the heat, but she was so good in the classes.
Caitlyn went with Lindy and her age group the first day.  Lindy and Caitlyn decided that they would rather go to the adult classes, so they did that the second day.  I was surprised by how much they enjoyed the classes.  Jonah's age group was full when we signed up so he had to go with Wyatt on the first day, he was less than thrilled with that.  They let him move up to his age group on Friday and Saturday, Jonah and Ammon were happy to be together.
The kids had an hour lunch break every day.  Gary and Julie switched off going to classes during that time so I got to eat with Julie one day and Gary the next.  We had fun visiting while the kids ate their lunch and then played outside.  Gary was a huge help with Hallee, he would help me carry her around the campus when she was melting down about all the walking we had to do.
Caleb was a huge help.  He is such an awesome kid!
Hallee adores Lindy.  I love to see how much my nieces and nephews love my kids!
We packed our lunch every morning and then we would go out to dinner every night. The boys loved having their own booth at Pizza Pie Cafe.
I loved being able to pick classes that I wanted to take.  Most of my classes centered around being happy and finding peace.  I took a great one on depression and anxiety .   I also took a great parenting class. I walked away from all of them with new ideas.  I loved walking away from each class feeling positive and rejuvenated.

I'm so glad that you had such a good time and that the classes were so good and helpful! How wonderful that you got that time with Gary and Julie and their family also!
