They had a bunch of different activities at the campus. On Friday after dinner we went back to the campus to do some roller skating. It was a lot of fun, we ended up staying for a couple of hours. I loved watching Gary and Julie skate around together, they are so cute! Lindy thought it was gross that they were holding hands, but I sure thought it was cute!
We were a little shaky at first because we are used to roller blades. Caitlyn was thrilled when she found out she could request songs. All of the kids had fun requesting songs.
Hallee didn't want to go in at first, she gets overwhelmed very easily. I finally got her to come in, but she didn't want to skate. I let her play on my phone until she calmed down. After a while she started giving us all high fives as we skated by. She loved doing that. Jacob was so cute, he made sure he gave her five every time he went by even though it made him fall down a few times.
Wyatt did awesome! He is such a sensitive kid and I thought he would get really embarrassed when he fell, but he didn't. Every time he fell, he would get back up and say, "I'm okay." He kept at it and after a little while he could skate on his own. I loved seeing his hard work and determination pay off. He was so proud of himself.
I loved holding Wyatt's hand while I skated with him. I also loved watching his awesome cousins take him around and encourage him.
Lindy and I skated together most of the night. I love that she wants to hang out with her old aunt! We all had such a fun night.
