Mother's Day

I got to sleep in yesterday, which was a great start to my Mother's Day.  We took a few pictures and then rushed out the door to church.
They cover all of the women's responsibilities at church so all of the women can be in Relief Society.  They brought us in cinnamon rolls and the bishop talked to us for a while.  It was a nice meeting.
After church we did some more pictures, the kids didn't complain since it was Mother's Day!
After that the kids all gave me presents and cards that they had made for me.
The kids were so excited to give me their cards.
I love reading each note.  They all said such nice things and pointed out different things that they like about me and what I do that makes them feel loved.
After that Keith made an early dinner.  He makes the best barbecue chicken!  I helped Caitlyn a little bit with the rice, but she did most of it on her own.
We had a nice relaxed day at home.  We spent the evening playing games together outside and then Keith and Caitlyn made us waffles with whipped cream and strawberries before bed.  Yum!  I love that they all make an effort to make the day special for me!

What fun pictures of a wonderful Mother's Day for you! I especially love the one of Caitlyn pulling a face when you're kissing Jonah. That was hilarious! I'm so glad you had a great day because you deserve it! Aren't the pictures and cards the kids make the best?
