Lately I have been struggling with motivation. I have found it really hard to be motivated to even get out of bed some days. I'm always thinking about how I can get back to my bed and check out. I think part of it is depression, that is always a struggle for me, but some days are worse than others. My allergies have been awful this Spring and that is probably a big part of it too, I am constantly tired and quite often I have a headache. My plantar fasciitis has been awful lately too, it is painful to walk and even stand. All of those things mixed together have really taken a toll on me.
I want to break that cycle so today I decided to take the kids to Provo Canyon after Wyatt got out of school. I went in and helped in Wyatt's class this morning and then Hallee and I read books until it was time to pick Wyatt up. We grabbed some lunch and headed up to the canyon. It was so much fun! The kids loved throwing rocks in the river.

We went over to Nuns Park because Bridal Veil Falls is still closed. We weren't in a hurry so we went on a long walk and stopped and explored along the way. We found an amphitheater where Hallee and Wyatt took turns performing.
We had so much fun together. I have got to do more things like this. I only have a few more weeks with Wyatt in Kindergarten, I have to soak up this time while I have it. I loved holding their hands while we walked up the path!
We had an awesome family night tonight. Katie gave us some money for watching Kenzie and we decided to use some of it to go to Golden Corral for dinner (we had a coupon for kids eat free so it was only $25 for all of us!) The kids were so excited! We had a great dinner and then we stopped at Walmart and bought this badminton set and a volleyball. Caitlyn and Jonah have been having a lot of fun with volleyball lately. Caitlyn has been playing with the young women.
We ended up staying up too late, but we decided to set it up tonight and play for a while. We had so much fun. The kids were such a big help with Kenzie so we told them we wanted to use some of the money to get something fun for them. I think we will have a lot of fun with this!

Great blog and pictures! I'm glad you had such a fun time yesterday and last night and I'm sorry that this spring has been so tough for you! Hang in there! Good job getting out and having a great time with Hallee and Wyatt! That badmitton set does look like a good one and one that can give you lots of fun times.
