Ugh, I can smell the heat, it smells like a sauna

We warned the kids that it was going to be really hot in Arizona.  When we got out of the car Wyatt said, "Ugh, I can smell the heat, it smells like a sauna." 

We spent a lot of time in the pool.  The kids were all excited to go swimming every day. 

Every afternoon we would swim for a couple of hours.  

Wyatt liked to take off his puddle jumper every day and have a swimming lesson with me. He did awesome.  He can get around the pool on his own and jump in with no problem. 

Wyatt and Rockwell liked to jump in at the same time. 

Hallee came a long way in the water this trip.  She was jumping in and going all the way under.  She has never liked to put her face in the water, so this was big.   

The boys loved when EJ and Elijah would play with them in the pool.   

EJ and Elijah would put the boys in jail (on the bench) and the boys had to get them out without getting caught. 

It is so nice to have the pool to ourselves and not have to worry about my kids splashing or bothering strangers! 

Cody and Jonah played in the pool for hours every day.  Usually when we go down they don't swim as long as the girls, but we would have to get them out of the pool for dinner every night. 

Crazy boys!

We had fun playing scum every night.  Hallee was excited to be on Matt's team. 

My kids sure love uncle Matt.   

The boys loved playing video games when they were inside.   

It was so fun having time with my siblings, I wish Gary could have been there!  We had so much fun laughing and spending time together.  I'm so glad we had this time together.
