I miss grandma!

I was so grateful that my parents were willing to keep our kids so that Keith and I could go on trek.  It was comforting to know that the kids had grandma when they couldn't have mom.  Grandma took great care of Wyatt on his birthday.  The girls made him surprise cupcakes!
They went to the Wairhouse on his birthday.  My mom sent us videos of Wyatt opening the presents we left him.  It was so great to see those while we were on the bus.  We were able to talk to Wyatt that morning while we were on the bus, but he was having so much fun that he didn't want to talk long. I was worried about Wyatt, he is my sensitive one that misses me.  He carried my picture around while I was at camp and cried that he missed me.  He was nervous until we spent a lot of time at my parents while Matt and Lori were here and then he said he was excited to stay at grandma's.  He did great and was in tears Saturday night that he missed grandma and we had to find him a picture of my mom to sleep with.
The next day my mom took the kids swimming.  The kids loved that.  Jonah was excited to tell me about all of the tricks he did on the diving board.
My kids would go swimming every day.
On Friday my mom took the kids to the canyon.  I love this picture.  They are all so cute.
They were all excited to tell me about shooting Dante's airsoft guns.
I don't know how my mom had the energy to do so many fun activities with the kids.  Having four extra kids is not easy!
Cute, little Wyatt.  What a stud!
I was surprised that Caitlyn had a bit of a hard time with us gone.  I think she was over tired from our fun week before.  She had a lot of fun, she just missed us.  She was in tears missing grandma on Saturday too.  She found a picture of grandma for Wyatt and when I went in his room she was giving him a hug and saying, "I know Wyatt, I miss her too."  They love grandma!
The kids loved telling us about all of the fun things they did at grandma's.  Thank you so much mom (and dad) for taking such good care of our kids.  It means so much to us.  I know that is not an easy job!  I was so grateful that mom brought the kids home on Saturday, it would have been really hard to go pick them up late that night.  It was such a relief to know the kids were being loved and taken care of.

You are welcome! I loved being able to spend time with them and doing fun things! Alexys and Dante loved it too! Thanks for letting us watch them.
