Jonah had his last pack meeting tonight. He is moving on to boy scouts. Jonah has had a great time in cub scouts. He loves to go have fun with his friends every week.
Jonah earned his Webelos and Arrow of Light tonight. This is a big deal because it was a lot of work! I wasn't sure he was going to finish all of the requirements, but he did! I like how they recognize the mothers as well as the cub scout because lets be honest, he would not have earned this without my help, sometimes a lot more help than I wanted to give!
I am proud of Jonah. Sometimes he didn't want to put in the work and thought it would be fine not to earn it, but in the end I know he is really glad that he did. The Arrow of Light was a lot of extra work, but he learned a lot and set and reached a lot of goals. They did an arrow of light ceremony for him where they talked about the characteristics of a boy scout. I hope Jonah will remember the values and respect for God and his Country that he has learned in cub scouts. Cub scouts isn't my favorite thing, but I do love the values they teach.
Jonah's last time saying the cub scout oath before he crossed the bridge over to Boy Scouts (I missed getting a picture of that).
Way to go Jonah. Remember the best things in life take dedication and hard work!

Congratulations Jonah!! That's great that he earned the webelos and arrow of light. Scouts do teach a lot of good values. They should honor the moms because you've earned it! I love that first picture of you and Jonah!
Nice work Jonah and Al! And you look beautiful Al!
