Antelope Island

On Monday we went to Antelope Island with the Beck's.  I have always wanted to go there and check it out, so I was excited that Emilee was planning on going. 

It took us a while to get there because there was an accident on the freeway.  We were glad when we finally made it.  We went inside the visitors center first.  The kids liked looking at everything.

The park is huge.  There are a lot of little hikes and things to explore.  We didn't pick the best day to go.  It was windy and rainy all day, when the wind picked up it was freezing!  I want to go back when it's warm so we can go to the beach part and explore some more.

We did two little hikes before it was too cold to continue.  I was worried about Hallee, but she did amazing.

I loved seeing Jonah stop to help her.

The boys loved climbing on all of the rocks and under them!

I think Jonah could have climbed on the rocks all day and been perfectly happy.

I was excited to be out exploring with my kids during Spring break.  There were so many pretty views.

On the way down from our second hike it was lightly raining and really windy.  Wind was blowing in my ear.  We decided to eat lunch in the cars after that and see if it blew over.  It did not blow over and it seemed to get colder!  We drove around the park and looked at the bison and then we decided to call it a day.  I definitely want to go back!
